Default Modifying theme on an older Pachislo

I just recently acquired my first machine. It has definitely given me the bug for a second newer machine with more features. However, I think I would like to attempt to change the theme of my current machine. I would be looking to replace all of the front glass pieces with custom designed pieces and replace the covers on the wheels to symbols of my choice. Is there a resident expert (or experts) that could help me with this?

The machine I have was made in 1994 by Daido. I have attached some pictures of the machine.

These days there's plenty of tools and techniques to do what you're after. There are home silk screen kits that you could use for the glass pieces or make your own decals. Use the Internet to find the images you're after for the silk screening and also to make the new reel sticker strips. Pretty much any design you want is feasible and you can do it yourself.

Thank you both for the advice. I am going to get to work on the design, although I am not very artistic. Once I have an idea what I am trying to accomplish, I will try the silk screening. I think this will make for a fun project. Thank you again, this community is the best!!!

After giving this a lot of thought, I cannot bring myself to modify the machine. I guess I would fall under the purist category. I have restored many arcade and pinball machines in the past and have always taken a lot of pride in staying true to the original design of the machine. So my old Pegasus WARP machine will not have any identity crisis and can rest assured that it will be well cared for.

Sometimes these older pachislo machines just grow on you. They are very basic and traditional as to the new machines but can still be a fun machine to enjoy.I have learned to appreciate the simlicity of them , and the durability.Alot of them outlast the newer machines that have all the latest gimics.Put them next to a new machine, they look just as good.Enjoy it and value it.

The more I play with the machine the more it has grown on me. I guess I have developed a soft spot in my heart (or maybe that is in my head) for it. It is in such good condition, it would seem a shame to change it.

The colors on the machine are so vibrant ,they really catch your eye . It looks like it is in mint condition.I still have a soft spot for my first machine,it's called the flying momonga 1999 by olimpia ,my camera is broke so Ican't post pics.Just remember that's the machine that got you hooked, and it will be a start to your next one.

I do see a second, more modern machine in my future. I would love to see pictures of your original machine if you get the opportunity.

Very cool machine!!! I really enjoyed the video. There are so much variety in the styles of these machines, it is going to take a lot of will power to limit my self to two machines.

I realize this is an older thread, but I did a couple of custom machines for my grandson. I just used a high grade photo paper and used images from the Internet. They are far from professional, but I'am happy with them.

The Simpons was a Taco Slot 2 machine and I went with a haunted house theme for Scooby Doo, (so the music would seem more appropriate), it was a Babel machine.

Here's some video's of them in action.
