Default New Guy, Need help identifying machine!!

    Greeting everyone,

Today I was taking out the trash after work and discovered a nishijin shiroi kamome machine sitting outside. It appears to be complete and even had a bag of balls stuffed in it. I brought it home and plugged it in and it lights up but to tell you the truth I have no idea where to start with these machines. I have attached some photos, hopefully someone can tell me all abnout this thing. I would say its in overall good condition, just appears dusty from sitting for some time. Any help would be great!!

    First of all... WELCOME!!!

Can anyone tell what that center feature is I have never seen one like it?

Also can you post a close up picture of it and please take the glass out of the machine. sorry it cuts down on the glare so we can actually see things.

Also if you want to know the about year your machine was built look at the sticker in the lower right corner on the front. You will see a 2 digit number on ther somewhere. Take that number and add 24 to it and the gives you the year it was built.

Fist of all thank you everyone for the help and warm welcome!!! I'm sure you all about fell over when I said I found it sitting outside near the trash compactor, I wasnt sure what it was but I knew it did not belong there.

mxfaiman: I will remove the glass tomorrow and post a more clear photo of the center feature, also the sticker in bottm right corner is partially covered at the bottom however the only number I can see reads 239-2. Again I will probably be able to get a look at the rest of it tomorrow when I remove the glass.

Moparformances: Yes I did plug it into my house outlet, my bad I was not aware of the amp requirements for these things. After looking at the plug attached to the terminals it is a radioshack "class 2" plug in transformer for answering machines and the like. Its input ratings read 120v and its output reads 10.2V. On another note thats a nice looking coronet!! My family has always owned chevys (mostly chevelles and vettes) but my first car was a 1971 340 demon I bought when I was 15.

Again thanks everyone for the help!

Okay I am stumped on what the center feature is. I have never seen one like it. It is so odd I can't really tell what it is.

    Anyone have any guesses?

As for the date look at the attached picture. The digits you are looking for are inside the red box I made. (they won't be the same digits.) Or there will be a blue bar along the bottom of the sticker. The numbers would also be on that.

I didnt know this machine would draw this much attention, especially since it is something I found near the garbage lol. As far as the theme on this one I have no idea really, just a samurai and some tree people as far as i can gather. On another note, I really have no space for this thing in my apartment and too many hobbys already. Im glad I was able to save it from the trash compactor and glad I was able to get input from you all on it but I would really like to sell it to someone who can better appreciate it. If anyone is interested just pm me. If selling things on here is frowned apon let me know that also

It is fine to sell things on here. But you will draw more intrest if you post it in the members trade area with a price and location. Also I would say try your luck on ebay because we like to try to get all of our machines for very low prices. If you just want it gone fairly fast post it on craigslist.
