    Default Don Chan 2 LCD HELP

    LCD started smoking(ie it is on fire literally). Unplugged the lcd and the machine operates nolrmally. Any ideas where to get another LCD? or what the problem might be?

    Any time electrical parts start smoking it's usually serious problems.Other members can possibly help you,find a new lcd screen.I don't know why it didn't blow a fuse first.ANYWAY GOOD LUCK.

    Sorry to hear of your woes
    LCD screens tend to be the most expensive part to replace. I guess you mean its the screen. I think your going to have to strip the machine down to get to the screen and look for the model number. Some times its made by Sharp. I wouldn't know why the screen would just burn out. Thats not my line of expertises
    There are a few screens on yahoo japan auctions at the moment.
