    Post Newbie here on Pachitalk

Hello everyone, I have recently aquired a Aruze Granciel machine from my sister and I am trying to repair the Belly Glass Lighting Problems. I am hoping some one out there can help me
The Belly Glass On My Gran-Ciel Slot Will Not Light Up. I Have Traced The Problem Down To The Transformer(or Whatever It May Be Called). There Are Two Rectangular Boxes On The Door Side By Side. One Connects To The Belly Glass Bulb, And One To The Upper Glass. When I Disconnect The One Leading To The Upper Glass, And Connect It To The Lower, The Lower Works. I Opened The Box In Question And There Was A One Amp Fuse That Was Blown. If Anyone Can Help Me I Would Greatly Appreciate It. The boxes are labeled as follows; 61-16462 FL 10 100v 0.2A 12V 50/60Hz.
    Thank You, Mr. Holm

The boxes you're talking about are probably ballasts. What exactly are you looking for? A new ballast, or just a replacement fuse?

it looks like they are 12 volt input if I am reading them right so you may need to find new fixtures with ballasts and retrofit if you can't find an exact match or someone may have a parts machine or know of a direct replacement for you.

Thank You for the feedback on my delema, I am going to try replacing the two blown fuses on the boards first. If that doesn't work I will then try to retro fit them with new lights and ballast. Question; Is it common for the fuses to blow in these?
    ______________________________________________________
Yes I was looking for replacement of the ballast, but I have noticed that both ballast have a blown fuse. Should I try to resolder a new fuse on them and try that first?

Blown fuses can mean bare wires touching or grounding out or too much power going in. Check the power transformer and see what the voltage is on the output side should be 24 volts. It is odd to have both ballasts with bad fuses. just opinions on trouble shooting.
