I remember seeing that item and thought the same thing. Hell Yeah, why not!! Disclaimer: unless your religion prohibits such activity.

My earliest thoughts were playing marbles around 9 or 10 years old. Back then you would play for the other guys best marbles. It was truely gambling on school campus!! Maybe it may have been a regional thing but back in Hawaii where I grew up. Marbles, was what you did at recess!!

Of course whent I got older, games like "kill ball" or "king of the mountain" were the activities of the day.

I hate to mention it but "Cock Fighting" was also a Polynesion gambling activity that was popular and at 8 years old I couldnt quite comprehend it and it happened all the time. The wierdest thing, was that it was at random public places that us little kids on bikes would find in no time. Now its illeagal. Thankfully!!! It wasnt a pretty site as a child. Some gambling is just not right for kids!

My family moved to Vegas when I was 16. Now I'm a pretty successful Video Poker player as "much as you can be", like slots. But I do better then most when I'm in Vegas. Back in our 20's my wife and I would play the tables and just make fools of ourselves, and as you can imagine, screw up the pro's strategy and get booted off the table.

Thats why I like having the machines at home where I can open the machine and grab as many coins as I want!! Practice some Video Poker skills and, when I go to Vegas, play for free drinks!! Works for me!! I usually end up with free drinks, tip the bartender 10 bucks and either break even or have an extra 10 bucks in my pocket over a few hours. Cheap entertainment in my opinion.!
