Problem with Popeye?

I just bought my first modern pachinko - Popeye.

The screen has a blinking cursor in the bottom left hand corner. Do I have a problem?

Would appreciate advice from the learned and experienced

Do you have any video other than the blinking cursor?

Sorry my bad. I have complete video but with the constant blinking cursor. Machine works great and video is great except for blinking cursor which I notice because I am tall and look down on the screen.

do you have balls in the top hopper, is the machine paying out ok, if you have a reset button near the on/off switch you could try a rest

You're talking about the little cursor in the lower left corner of the LCD?

Not to worry. It's perfectly normal. It's part of the subroulette system.

Here's what our good buddy at Gibisan's has to say about it.

Subroulette: The subroulette can be located anywhere on playfield and sometimes within the LCD display. When a ball enters a through gate, the
roulette starts. When this roulette hits a certain combination (for example "77"), the start or secondary claw will open, typically once
for a short time (less than a second) during normal play at a approx. fixed probability of 15%. During bonus and chance play, it will
open for a longer time (1-2 seconds) and/or for a consecutive number of times and at a fixed probability of 50%.
