Default Found an old "Mizuho Boat Race" machine

I'm really intrigued by this little beast; it's the first one I've ever seen. I didn't know what a "pachinko" was until today.

What should I do with this thing? It's in really dusty condition.

    first of all

Here on Pachitalk we all really love pictures. As for cleaning the first thing you should do is go through ant take picture of EVERYTHING and depending on if you want to replace all the staples with screws or new staples start carefully taking apart the back of the machine. But try not to break anything because finding a replacement is difficult and could be very costly.

Once you have all of your parts off I go and clean all of the plastics and metal with superclean (this can be found at Wal-Mart and local auto parts stores) You have to dilute it with a ration of cleaner to water of 1:1. I spray this on let it sit for a while then I go scrub it let it sit again and the rinse it off. This is a good method for getting all of the tobacco off the parts. After this then I go and put it in a sink full of simple green and water. I put all of the parts in here and let them sit over night. When I come back in the morning I go and scrub them all down and then rinse them off. For stuff that is worse and this method won't clean it you'll either need to polish it or color sand it and then polish it. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

Also, like Mopar said once you have one you can not help but to get one more and then another and another and until you end up with about 7 or more.

    100 machines and counting...

Great advice.. but keep in mind be very carefull cleaning the play field... water or wet materials will leave stains very quickly...
