    Default Mahjong Pachinko by Fuji

Front whole.jpgHere's what I can figure out:

    1) coin mech and coin payment not working

    2) I can get a coin to pay out front bottom.jpgby hand, just can't figure out if the machine will do it?

    3) Bottom left button advances a ball

    4) Bottom right button resets the game field

    5) inst.jpg Switches under each symbol send 1 ball back to the shooter, you can do this 9 times per the counter on the bottom right.

Need to do some more cleaback.jpgning and get a new piece of glass for the top part of the game!

Anyone else have one that can provide some insight?

    Thanks and enjoy the pics!

I was wondering who got this cool machine from way back, if this is the one I'm thinking of. As for the issues make sure everything is clean and nothing is broken, bent, or looks like it's missing. Post some close up pics of the mechanisms you're having trouble with. It's hard to troubleshoot without pics of the mechanisms.
    Thanks for the pics.

Thanks emmadog, I think your arrangeball experience will help me on this!
3 total: Top, middle and bottom of coin mech. The middle section can be removed in case of a coin jam. Hard to say if anything is missing or broken, things seem to be working normal. The wire that allow a coin to be paid out is loose (bottom right of pic 3), but I dont know how you win to see if a coin is paid. On the top, front, left side (1st post pics)there is a "key" type spot above the coin start. This appears to operate a manual payout.
Let me know what you think!

do you have a way of makeing a video... showing the moving parts and how they move would be great insite...

looks to be all mechanical.. dont see any solonoids or places where they might have been...

looks like the rod that runs from top to bottom may be how the payout works... can you push a button on the front of the machine to push that rod down to the payout shoot??

confusing to look at pictures.. would love to get my hands inside of it...

Nice looking machine congrats on geting it super clean looking

I don't see any any place for solenoids either? Also, everything else is mechanical and no lighting, would they make only the payout electrical? It is possible it was modified for home use years ago or that they would call an attendent on a payout?
A video may be in order, I'm just not very good at the editing portion

The "key" switch above the coin-in spot is the conncetion to the payout.

In this photo of an old post, you see a t-shape key on the left side...This could be what I'm missing? Maybe a parlor attendant would check a winning hand and then do a payout? Also, it appears that I can keep playing games without adding coins. My kids are loving it, i'm just trying to figure it out

having an attendant there does not seem very logical... ya can play a game as fast as 30 seconds.. having an attendant check it every time seems like alot of work...

    interesteing???

    I'm glad the video's worked!

After you use the 10 re-shots, the balls go back to the start tray. Normally I believe that this would be "locked" until another token is put in, but I can still advance another ball. That is why I believe that this game was somehow converted to home use. I wish I could see a non-altered machine
