3 inch 1 watt replacement speaker for Olympia Joker

Hello,
I've been trying to fins a 3", 8 ohm, 1 Watt replacement speaker for an Olympia Joker. I thought this would be easy to find, but the closest thing I've run into is a 1/2 watt speaker designed for CB radios on E-bay. I would prefer to find the correct wattage if possible, but I'll try the 1/2 watt if all else fails. Does anyone know of a supplier who might have it? I struck out at Radio Shack.

As long as it is an 8ohm speaker at 3 inch the wattage isn't that critical moes auto speakers will work. Even computer speakers can work.Go to a thrift type store and just find a used speaker just to test with .

The wattage was my main concern. I already tested it with a boom box speaker, and it worked. The CB speaker is exactly the same size, and will fit perfectly in the frame provided for the speaker on the door of the machine. For less than $5.00 including shipping, it looks like my troubles are over. THANK YOU FOR THE ADVICE, I APPRECIATE IT VERY MUCH.

I am glad that you have sound, that shows the amp is still good. I wonder if the speaker was replaced before, and was too small of wattage. My machines all have at least 5 watt minimum to 10 max, at 8 ohm.Maybe thats what blew the speaker out?Just make sure the power is off before you connect the new speaker. best of luck.
