Hi guys. I'm a new member here. I had a pachinko machine when I was a kid, and came across another one at a yard sale last summer. Being in Nashville, everything at a Yard Sale once belonged to someone in country music. This one was supposedly given as a gift from Roy Acuff to the sellers wife, who worked for many years at TNN (The Nashville Network) when it was still around. He was supposedly a big pachinko fan. That story and $.99 will get you something from the value menu at Wendy's. Anyhow, I've been pretty busy with some other things, but finally set it up on my workbench this afternoon and started some light cleaning. Just wiping out the years of dust and dirt from the back, plexi, and trays. The metal trim has some rusting to it, but no dents. I took some metal polish and a rag to it a few parts of it and they improved greatly. As you can see, it's a Nishijin with a fisherman theme. I'll be doing some more reading her to find the best ways to restore it. Thanks for the great info so far. when it's done, maybe I'll put it on the yard-sale end table in my office that once belonged to Marty Robbins...
