Default Hey Gang Check out this New Add on Ebay

This numb nuts has the following machine for sale with a reserve bid:

1957 Antique Type A Creator Japanese Slot Machine

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...16758&rd=1

    Here's his add copy:

This auction is for a prime piece of casino history. Built in 1957 in Japan, this slot machine full of all the electronic bells and whistles. A far ancestor from the computer automated wonders of today, this machine features Japanese labels with English translations. Blinking Lights and Loud Sounds means 'Jackpot' in any language!

This is the rare Triple 7 Creator A version, and it is in excellent condition. The Japanese lables are still securely affixed to the machine. All inspection stickers are legible and complete.

The machine turns on and lights up, but we don't know how to work it, so we can't get it to play. Anyone who knows a thing or two about these slots should be able to get this to play in no time. It doesn't accept money, nor does it put any out. It is simply a piece of Japanese gaming and casino history.

These games are highly collectible because not too many of them were brought over to the US in the late 50's.

'computerized wonders of today' type machine.

AND ITS ANTIQUE>>> YES just have to get me one...

Easy bids is a store front where you bring in your item to sell on Ebay, they do it for a % of the selling price.

They don't know squat on pachislos, It is not a machine that I have sold to anyone.

It's a "Creator 7" made by Kitac (Kita Denshi Corp.) in 1994.
The date on the NDT sticker is November 1994 (Heisei 6 = 1994).

They did a remake in 2004 called Gogo Creator 2.

That looks like an old SK10 board to me. I would say that is has to be at least 25 years old.

Default don't look 50 years old to me.

my friend has too slots that he both back in 1995 from pachinko palace Florida. The two machines are called Bishop and Twinkle Stage both from electronacoin. What I'm trying to say is that looks from the mid or late 80's. I wouldn't think its worth much. The value only drops on 99% unless you own a spin luck, dd or a Harley but I don't have 700 to spend right now so i happy with what i got.

I say buy what you can afford and will enjoy not for investment. Even the ones that are pricey now will more than likely go down in price as the new and more elaborate machines get over here. I seem to notice that more and more machines are themes that peak our interest and that they seem to be making more machines that appeal to Americans.
    and a few others.

I agree. There are a few classic machines that may go up as they become less available. Spin Luck? Terminator? But on average almost all machines will go down.

The only thing that concerns me is the rumor about the laws being changed in Japan. Many of the new features that resulted in larger payouts and more features required an extra processor board. Rumor has it that those add-on boards have been banned. If this was done because the Japanese government felt pachislos were starting to behave a little too much like gambling devices, it could limit how elaborate the play of new machines can be.

If that really happens, we could find that right now is the "golden age" of pachislo, with machines from both the past and the future being less "collectible."

I've been thinking about this, too. Are you really excited about getting a new machine if they are less fun and less playable? Didn't think so.

The Japanese have always been quite and inventive culture. Somehow, I'm betting they aren't going to take a step backwards on this one. The industry is simply too large.
