Exclamation 2 Pachinko and 1 Pachislo +1 cat for 1351 mile truck ride.

Well...been in Florida for the holidays and it's time to head on back to NY. I am a garage salin fool and picked up tons of smashin deals while I have been here. My consirn is how to bring these home.

Here is my collection I gathered while in Florida.

This is what I am stuffin them into.

    Here is my navagator!

95% of my trips are a straight thru shot. About 22 hours worth.

Now the Pachislo machine is gonna be right behind me wrapped in a blanket and hopefully seat belted in.

1 pachinko closest to the wall I would like to go inside the cab also. but I really need room for the cat to walk around at his will. If he cant get comfortable he is gonna drive me insane on the trip. The second pachinko is gonna have to be laid down on it's back or front and go in the bed of the truck. My consirn is this a nono to lay them down? I really have no choice but lay 1 one down. Both pachinkos are gonna be empty of balls and wrapped up in a blanket.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

As long as you don't hit any wet weather, and the pachinko is secured so that it doesn't slide around, I would think it would be fine laying down in the back. You might also consider puting it inside an old bicycle box for added protection. I'm sure you could find a bike shop that has a box to spare.

    Good luck with your trip!

You can barely see the stand that the Pachislo on but it's hollow inside. Was thinking of putting the blanket wrapped inside that. The bed to does have a tanneo cover to help some with the weather.

i carry machine's in the back of my truck all the time...

like you said take the balls out... all of them!!! and put it on its side, use tiedowns to hold it in place and your good to go... (one or two over the top and one to hold it agenst the cab) laying it on its front and back will break it for sure on a long trip like that... the frame will take bouncy punishement way more then the plastics... (put them agenst the cab.. less bounce)

i have put 12 machines in the back of my little yota and hauled them to sac before...

    looks like a great collection

I "second" the idea that you should get all the balls out of the machines. When I sold my car a year ago... it still had balls rattling around in it.

I kinda' miss that noise now.

If it were me, I would seat belt in the two pachinko's, and let the slot ride in the back.

You could lay it down on it's back without causing damage.

I was able to lay 5 down on their backs and 2 had to be upright that is how I drove my 7 home!

If outside stick them in a 55 gal garbage bag for added rain protection.
