Default need model ID Please -Yet another Noob

    Kanichi wa (however spelled)

Picked this machine at a local flea market for $50, has power, but shows E6 code on right most display. No key for lock but I have access to cabinet (thanks to hole in back). My Kanji is non-existent . Hoping someone can give me insight into this machine.

Front cabinet says "Daruma Manekineko Hyper Collabo

    says A-Type/7-Line/AT-ST
    Refrences to AT5 AT20

also has 2 screws on back of cabinet with wires voming from the power supply area , I found a jumper wire that goes ??? inside loose on the bottom of the cabinet.

Leftmosr switch when turned on starts a coin box motor that does what??? but has two red led errors lights when on and off when motor truned off. of the 7 leds the top 2 a green and one red a separation then has 4 red leds. the two green leds are lit and the red led is on and of the four red leds only the bottom is lit.

When the key is turned from the "off" position to the right 90 position the topmost of the 4 red leds lights up regardless of the motor switch position.

Sorry for all the info but I wanted to be thorough. Please e-mail with comments questions.

Did I buy a nice night light or can this be salvaged???

    Thanks for any help,

    John

    Welcome to PachiTalk!!

I think it's deff a Pachislo machine, possibly an Aristrocrat model??

The Daruma models usually feature a cat like creature I believe??

As mentioned, pics would be great to help with ID etc

PS Doesn't 'Konichi Wa' mean 'hello' or something similar in Japanese??

    HI,

I've managed to overcome some obstacles. Managed to press enough buttons after reading some posts I missed to get it running. It appears to be an Aristocat Daruma Cat. It has the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" belly glass. But is identicle to one on Youtube. My wife is very relieved its working now. As she was the one who wanted it. We have 70 or so tokens and may need more at some point.

I would still like to find a manual either in print or pdf, have checked the spachi site but have not found it. I appreciate you quick response and below should be the pics.

Also would like to find manufactures web info or whatever I can find to know more about this machine.

    Thanks ,
    John

Yes that one is listed in our Research Centre, as a 2004 Aristocrat model

Although at some point it's had a different belly glass / graphic added

I can't find a specific manual for this model, usually most pachi manuals are written in Japanese, unless someone has managed to translate one, however we do have general play guides and advice which may be useful if you are new to pachislos, here's a link to our Pachislo FAQs section, which contains a PDF Pachislo Operation Guide amongst other links

    Hi All,

thanks for all the welcomes and the information. this site is neat , however my ownership may be short lived. Even thuogh we like the machine we may sell it soon. What would be a fair price? I've seen anywhere from 450 to 200 in different web places. it has some wear but seem to be functioning great. I used a piece of string tied to the lock mechanism to keep from reaching in the machine. We had a scare when my wife was pulling tokens out of the bin and I hit the payout switch...Muy Bad!! There is a hole broken by the previous owner but I could square it up and place a grate over it so that it "looks" more standard. I only have about 70 tokens to offer but will probably gather as much info to pass along to the buyer so they won't have to hunt so much, (including the link to pachi talk). Again Thanks to everyone for this site. It has been a great help. I really rushed when I started looking for help and found a great deal by the first responses.
