Default Battery on sound / light board

    Ok here is the question,

I have a Sammy, WanTouchable Pachislo machine.

On the board / module on the inside of the door behind the display that shows the payout combinations, there is a small battery soldered to the PCB (upper right hand corner ot the board). I hope it is not critical, such as providing power to RAM memory for sound, lights, etc.. I am thinking I should replace it before it goes dead and kills my machine, any suggestions, or ideas? I do know to provide uninterupted power in parallel with the battery before removing and replacing it to prevent possible permanent damage. Any advise will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Rob

    Hi All,

Issue solved, it is a capacitor and not a battery, it is C8 on the board.

    Thanks
