What is a "hybrid" Pachislot?

I just saw a video about the Sammy Popey on Youtube and they mention that this is a hybrid Pachislot... Does anyone know what that means?

The hybrid refers in part to the lines of payout.
I don't have a firm grasp of the Japanese language, but both the PV & manufacturer webpage seem to refer to this as a Type-A pachislo.
It also appears to have a variety of ART rounds, & clearly takes tokens.
