Default Satomi Miracle Panchos - ArePachi

This is a continuation of this thread:

    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/vint...-arepachi.html

Well it seems it works a lot less then more.

The payouts are wrong, some pay right, others pay 8, 9 or 10 tokens.

The payoff/cashout button does not work.(button OK)

Bonus buttons are intermittent in selection.

The machine is very dirty inside so some cleaning of the board fingers may help.

Replaced a 15amp fuse with the correct 3amp.

Running it at 100vac from my variac.

I am using dollar coins(gold ones - SBAs work poorly) for tokens.

I see no switch nor jumper to change payout.

Thanks in advance for all the help I will need to get this machine working.

Here are the pics.(more in my album) Detail pics on request.

    I forgot the big one.

None of the top payout total lights work.

All bulbs are good in entire machine.

It's very likey some of the resistors or other circuit board components have gone bad thereby affecting the logic which leads to faulty payouts. I faced a similar problem and sent my boards out for refurbishment. A dozen resistors Onmy Satomi "Hippie" had degraded and were nowhere near their original values. Also dirty micro switches can cause faulty payouts. They may still click but are on fact not making contact. That is, if you're machine uses those for the 16 ball pockets. Nevermind, I just saw the pic and it looks like leaf switches. Well that eliminates bad micro switches. I have some contacts that can examine and fix your boards assuming that's the problem. Also have a guy who can go thru the entire machine. I'd first eliminate the obvious potential problems like dirty contacts, etc. Then send the boards out. Then go from there. PM me if you need more info.

An arepachi is a very hard machine to keep fixed up and running. You need to be both a computer and electrician worker. Most like me are neither and it is expensive to have them fixed.

the label on top of your machine indicates a max payout of 5. this may or may not be the actual max as i've seen many variations in machines concerning the stated vs. actual max. there could be a selector switch on the reverse side of the main circuit board. let us know how your trouble shooting comes along.
