Default WTB - Lock for Skill Stop Slot

Can anyone tell me where I can find a replacement lock cylinder (and key) for my Pink Panther Skill Stop Slot? I bought it at a Pawn Shop and they had to drill out the old one since they didn't have the key...

    Thanks!

    Welcome to Pachitalk

have you tryed a full reset??

In order to change odds, machine must be in idle mode with no tokens or credits
being played. Locate internal toggle switch (red tipped or silver with on/off tabs)
or insert key into internal key switch (if your machine came with 2 keys).
Machine must be turned OFF. Turn key clockwise or flip reset toggle switch to
the "ON" or "ODDS" position. Turn main power switch ON to access
    programming mode.
A number from 1 to 6 will be displayed on the CREDIT meter on the front door or
on a display inside the door. Locate the reset button. This will be located on
your power supply. On SAMMY brand models, the button is on the inside of the
    door only.
Depress the button and notice movement of number being displayed on the
credit meter. Once the desired level is displayed (1 to 6) pull "spin reels" handle
(black or red knob on front door) down, like you are going to spin the reels, to
lock odds level into machine memory. Turn key switch back or flip toggle to
"OFF" or "PLAY" position. Machine should immediately initialize. You will know
the machine initialized if the "Insert Medal" light starts flashing. If not, make sure
you remembered to press down the "SPIN REELS" lever.
If it still doesn't initialize, turn power to the OFF position, wait 15 seconds and
turn power switch back to ON position.

    Thank you for your help.

I have tryed what you said many of times and it dont work on mine.

The medial light just stays on all the time and it dont flash at all...

I can add pics later when i get home...

The power supply has a green button and red button and a key slot and it has 2 switches that move up and down (ON AND OFF) and a switch for the hopper...
Plus it has the toggle switch for the power on and off.

I just cant fugure it out why it wont take the tokens

    HI and . . .

    Welcome to PachiTalk ! ! !

Your Pachi is made by YAMASA.

They made two of them. One in 1994 and the other in 1999. The one made in 1994 has the Pink Panther on the Belly Glass shouting into a Yellow Megaphone. The other one is the 1999 Version. If you PM me your e-mail address I can send you an operations Manual for YAMASA Pachilo's.

Two things you can check. #1. See if you have these.

With the door open look at the Mother Board in the Back of the machine. It will be the biggest PC Board. While looking at it press the Stop Buttons, Reel Spin Knob and MAX bet Button. Do LED's light up on this Board when you press the Buttons / Knob?

If so watch that Board again and drop a Token into the Slot. Did any LED's light up? If so how Many? There should have been two. If not then the Token Acceptor is not registering the Tokens as they pass through it or the Magnet in the Token Acceptor is not "Active" which it should be if there are no Errors set in the Machine. There are plugs from the Token Acceptor to the PC Board just above it on the inner door. Try re seating these.

#2. This Magnet on the Token Acceptor. After you do a Full reset as Mopar explained, when you turn the Pachi on do you hear this Magnet "Click"?

It should. If not then the Tokens will just fall back into the Lower door tray and not make it through the sensors to add credits. Are the Tokens going into the inner Hopper or falling back into the lower Door Tray?

Let us know what you find.

    yes i have a 1994 model...

Yes i have tested the mother board.. The lights light up when i push the stop buttons and move the spin arm... There is no light when i put tokens in ans no click sound when i turn it on...

The tokens just fall back into the try not into the hopper...
I have unpluged and re pluged back in all the plugs in the hole machine..

Where can you fine the Magnet on the Token Acceptor???

    Please help...

Did the Manual get to you O.K.?

Since you did a full reset multiple times I want you to check this next.

With the door open and Pachi turned on press all the buttons / knobs on the machine and see if either an LED turns on and off for each. You may have a "Stuck" Button / knob on one of them. Some Pachis have "Flashing" lights, some have "Steady" ones by the Token Slot.

I have a 2002 YAMASA Destroyer which is similar to yours. On my Pachi the Magnet is active when inserting Tokens and releases the metal plate it activates as the machine is in play. The Pic's you posted of the round white object with two wires is your Magnet.

Put the Token Acceptor back together and connect it all back up. With the machine turned on note the position of the metal plate the magnet activates. Is it pulled towards the magnet or away? Watch it as you disconnect the 2 wire plug from the Token Acceptor. 28 Volts DC is what activates the Magnet.

If nothing happened when you disconnected that 2 wire plug then reconnect it. Manually position by hand that metal plate opposite from where it was and drop a Token in. You will probably push the metal plate towards the Magnet.

Did it pass through the Token Acceptor or still fall into the lower door tray? If it passed through the Token Acceptor did two LED's Flash and did a Credit add on the counter?

Let us know what you find.

Do you own a Multimeter and are you comfortable using it? Starting to probe wires and jumping a few on the Token Acceptor Plugs will be next depending on what you found.

    Hello

Yes i got the manual.. Thank you very much for that..

I have pressed all the buttons on the machine and they do show a light that goes on and off when you press them on the main mother board..

There is only one main light that stays on all the time is the medial light seen in one of the pics i posted.

I put the token magnet back together and it sits away from the magnet.

I push it up close to it and it dose nothing... The tokens still fall back through to the front tray...

On my power supply it shows 2 on and off swithches at the top of the unit.
Not sure what those are for.. In the manual you sent i couldint find the same one i have.
