Talking Anyone have parts for a Kyoraku?

I have a 1976 vintage I picked up on Ebay that is missing a few parts (surprise). Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to PachiTalk!! That's a nice Popeye machine that you scored.

Which parts specifically are you missing? Are they just covers, or parts that affect play?

There are very few replacement parts available for these older machines, so many of us create mods where needed to get the machine working. Hopefully someone in this community has a parts machine with the items you need.

Again, welcome to the madness we call PachiTalk!

I dont see enough missing to make it "non-functional". It just looks like parts related to the old lighting system might be missing but easily recreated/modified.

Thats a pretty cool machine, by the way!!

    Oh...and welcome to Pachitalk

From what I can tell from looking at the machine owennewton has there is a black plastic piece at the bottom of the machine that has something to do with the payout lever arm and on the front the piece that goes over the 'shooter' for a better word. It may just be just part of the lighting or loading mechanism. Any ideas on replacing the lighting mechanism. Here are some pics from Billy's site that might help. Thanks for the help. I just finished taking apart the entire back of the machine and cleaned it up good. Ebay find for $1.25 plus shipping so I did OK I guess.

$1.25!? How did I miss that one?

Could you upload a pic of the front feed tray assembly with the door open (behind feed tray) and closed?

I believe you have all the parts you need for it to work in back. I'd just like to see the feed mechanism in front.

Like you mentioned, whatever you're missing probably had something to do with the lighting. You may have to improvise as parts will be hard to come by. Unless you're a purist I would read some of our members post's as to the methods we've used and come up with your own solution.

    Have fun!!

It has a bit of fire (or just melted) damage it appears. Missing the glass/plexi too. Anyway thanks for taking the time to try and help me out.

Sorry I have not gotten the pics to you yet, life has been in the way.

it is missing some parts in the loading area, when I get around to taking the pics I will see if what is gone is needed (it was an electric plunger that shut off the ball supply from the front tray if a overflow switch was tripped)

I will try to get shots of the same places so you can compare

Thanks. Appreciate it. I know Billy has one but I am sure he is going to want an arm and a leg for it.

Oh its an "Electric" model. Owen is right, the feed mechanism is missing. I have one stored away and maybe I can dig it out and help with photos as well.

We'll see if we can get it working somehow.

Not sure what happened to it. It looks like the plastic is melted. The back plastic plate is really the only part severely damaged.

Billy has the ball loading mechanism he will sell me for $45 and the light assembly for $5. Any thoughts on whether I should get them from him?

I dug around. If you want I have the whole bottom assembly.
Should be able to change it over.
There are a few butt burns and a small hairline crack on the tray.
