Default VERY interesting Nishijin Roulette Wheel

I was pretty much done with buying "regular" (and I don't mean that in a bad way) pachinkos until I saw this one. It has a motorized roulette wheel that the balls somehow interact with. Owner said it still works but not sure about all the gameplay details.

thanks, well i spoke to the owner today at length about the roulette wheel. it looks like it's unmounted. several peeps called and asked about that so he went out and double checked. he said it was securely mounted and is designed that way. if it was horizontal the player wouldn't really be able to see the wheel's surface. if it was vertical then the balls wouldn't be able to rest on it. so we'll see. i'm curious as to the numbered strip on the left. it's numbered 1,3, and 5 which corresponds to the numbers on the wheel. are those numbers buttons, lights, and/or payout values? intriguing...

Ok, you're post made me laugh I have to admit. I would like to get a cool hanemono one of these days-that'l be as modern as I get. I'm sure playing moderns is a blast but I know get tired of it. With the vintages it's more about the history and the simplicity that attracts me and subsequently impacts the ole bank account.
Anyway, Candyflip or anyone else, have you seen a machine of this type before and/or have any info? Thanks.

I can't seem to find pics of the actual machine, but there is a pic of the Roulette Assembly

Looking forward to getting this one. The more I studied the pics that the owner sent me the more interested I became. It has at least one button on the left of the machine and maybe more. According to the link above, it also has sound and more than the typical amount of lights. The circuit board is larger than any that I have seen on this era of machine. Actually, it's the only circuit board I've seen on these types of machines.
It's shipping out today so I am thinking mid week of next week it should be here. Right now UPS has the billing info but they haven't updated yet with the tracking info.
