Default Help Identify my Pachinko Model A ??

I was given a nishijin machine and it is in excellent condition. It looks like it has never been used. The guy i got it from said that he bought it while in Japan and never used it . It appears to be a model A front overflow from the late 60's. I am wondering it I need to get it appraised and insured before I put it in my gamehouse. Are these usually worth very much? I will try to post some pics tomorrow.

well. not to disappoint you, but they are not that valuable (in dollars... they are VERY valuable to us pachitalkers ). maybe $200 in mint condition? most of us buy nishijin A's for $20-$50 off craig's list.

post pix and we can give you more of an idea.

    Welcome to PachiTalk

Yes, pics of both the front and the rear of your pachinko would be great, as i think there are a couple of different overflow models / versions

The reason I am asking is because my wife and I turned a 1 bedroom house into a game house for our family and I am going to have my insurance guy go through and estimate the coverage i need on everything in there. I would hate to have something vauable overlooked. Thanks for the quick responses.

A "Game House" for the family!

Now there is an AWESOME idea!! Why settle for just one room when there is an entire house to convert!!

Yeah, we knocked out some walls and and made the main part a gameroom and turned the bedroom into a movie theater. As soon as i can figure out how to insert a few pics I will let ya take a look.

    If it's for insurance purposes...

I would put it at $350 to $500. You can easily find Craigslist or eBay postings of people asking these prices.

Whether or not anyone is willing to pay that much... well... that's a whole different story!
