Can anyone translate this alarm for me?

During the first jackpot round I get an alarm. Now, I certainly wasn't playing 'correctly'. I was trying to reproduce the alarm by feeding balls directly into to start pocket and the hopper was empty. Does anyone know what it means?

On the older games, you have to get a ball or two in the bonus door each round or there's an error, the game assumes something is wrong (why wouldn't someone play out a bonus?).
