Exclamation "Vintage" Pachinko on shopgoodwill...23 hours left

I was popping through the goodwill auction site and found this:
    shopgoodwill.com - #6012998 - Sanyo Comet II Pachinko Machine - 4/3/2010 10:00:00 AM

There's about 23 hours left on it. I'm not too familiar with the older machines, so I can't tell you if it's a good deal or not...

The minimum bid is $25, and I got a shipping estimate of $28. If you are in Portland, you can pick it up for a $5 fee.

    Hope this helps someone...

also hope this is an okay place to post. Apologies if I hit the wrong forum...

after a 3 hour round trip in heavy rain and wind that made my car change lanes without permission I have a new pachi.

It is very dirty and has balls in places they should not be. The win leaf switch is broken and the plexiglass needs to be replaced but everything is there and looks to be working, it even has all the covers in the back.

the date on the sticker is 12 - 51 so I think that makes it a 1974, correct me if I am wrong with my math.

now I just need to make it some feet, tighten up the frame and clean clean clean. I also need to do a better job of cleaning (and add feet to) the two I got from mopar a few months ago.

WOW! That is a really cool looking machine!! I really like the cell.

The only thing I see missing from the back is the ball path guide where the balls enter the jackpot payout mechanism. No worries, though. It's pretty easy to make one.

    Congrats!

hard to see in the pic but the guide is there. shooter spring is a little weak and the bottom tulip won't close but everything else is working just fine. I like how the center feature works, if you get a ball into the top it can fall into 3 holes. one of the sides will open the tulip on the same side as the ball went. if it drops into the center one it flips the ninja to the other side and opens the bottom tulip (if it was able to close). With the ninja on top of the other one a large opining is on the right hand side of the center and if you get a ball in the opening it flips the top ninja back to that side and will open the bottom tulip again ( only if it will close).

I think it has "stuff" in it or the lever may be bent a little or out of it's track. Should be an easy fix as it needs to come apart for cleaning anyway.

I got the bottom tulip working (sewing needle in it [I think I need to post in the strange finds thread])and it is interesting.

when a ball falls into it from the center feature it opens, if more fall in from the center it stays open but if one falls in from the side then it will close.

I have not seen one like this before.
