That is really unusual. It almost looks like someone re-plated the front ball tray. I have asked the seller to post some close-up photos of the front and back.

One further note about this auction... Seller does not have a feedback rating yet, so be careful!!

the conversion part of that one looks a lot like the one that johnnynormal got last year. his was grey plastic. this one looks chrome plated.

it really would be interesting to see the back mechanism on this one. if it is an older one, it might be all steel parts. otherwise, maybe an A type mechanism?

the seller seems to know a bit about pachinko's, the way they write.

That's a handsome machine but that conversion really screws up the aesthetics. I know I'm picky but seriously, first the conversion but then the gold plating??? When one is converted can it be reverted?

I actually like to see the vintages with the conversions,

For me, it's intriguing and adds to the history of pachinko

but that's probably because I'll never get to see one over here

I thought pachinkos were considered female because they need constant maintenance, need volume controls and having one just doesn't seem to do it?

Gotta disagree with yall. To put all that tacky plastic on the front of that machine and change how it was originally designed to function? Might as well put street tires on my Rubicon! Conversions are interesting from a historical standpoint. But aesthetically? Not so much. Maybe on the typical 70's vintages that are all over the place it would be ok but to have gold plated parts hanging off of that otherwise nice machine with clean, simple graphics. Unacceptable. I'd rip that stuff off and try to restore the machine to original condition.

This one was relisted. Seller still doesn't have a feedback rating so be careful if you decide to bid.
