You were having the backlight LCD problem, correct?

Driving me crazy with this machine..

I had two of these machines (one complete and one for parts) I was able to switch a few things around and then both screens worked great. I played it for months, but then when I moved the machine (slid on floor) 5 feet to the left, the screen did not work again. It was weird. The screens work fine, but the back lights would not light up. I checked every connector on the machine including inside the monitor. The only thing I did not check was the power supply.
After replacing a bunch of capacitors on a dead Apple Imac G5 and getting that working again, I thought of checking to see if there were any dying capacitors in the power supply of the Gamera. I sold the machines before I got a chance to do this.
Another road I traveled was to contact a member here about isolating the Fluorescent tubes in the monitor to there own ballast. Basically, I would have the lights on there own switch. The person I contacted about this did not think it would be possible.
