    Indeed!!

I find it interesting that the Seller values the 'clock' one more highly then the Win a Polo one, judging by the BIN he has set and I don't see a reserve on the polo one...

there have been a couple of those clocks on US ebay recently. cheaper than the UK prices, too.

I am tempted b/c of the cool mechanicals, and I would, of course, replace one side with acrylic and add internal lights...

I will bid on the clock, too, but no where nears, $1500

    Good luck, Chewy!

My next purchase is going to be that Bryan's Four Square I found, which will wipe out my toy budget for a while. Otherwise I would bid on the clock. I want to add one of those to my collection some day.

    WOW!

if you get the 4 machines, then you could later sell them off one at a time for at least $300 each, right? just need to add a box, which you are an expert at doing.

can't wait to see this one.

More like puts up with my insanity.

She is into amature photography and has spent a hefty amount on photo equipment and lenses. One lens she bought cost well over $1,000 and I couldn't even tell you what it does. Granted her hobby doesn't take up as much space in the house as mine does, but I think it costs a lot more than mine in the long run.

As for the Four Square, it would have more value as a whole game rather than splitting it up. Therefore I am planning to keep it intact and restore it. From the seller's description it sounds as if one of the games is missing the centerpeice (which significantly reduces my offer), however it may be a Pilwin game where the goal is to get the ball into the clown's mouth (a.k.a - a hole in the center of the play field).

I'm going to make a trip to see it within the next few weeks. I'll post photos when I get back.

well. that camera tech stuff is pricey all right. I have to resist all the time. they're like computers... always new ones with more storage, smaller size, more zoom for less money... I finally bought a new mini 4/3rds camera off ebay (usually I won't buy tech from there) from a guy who had the camera only a few months and was already upgrading to the 5K camera (mine was a bit over 1K with a cool lens)

I like doing home videos and taking lots of closeups of my projeccts, but I also know that I am not the next james cameron, so I have to keep things reasonable.

you could tell her that you are getting a lot more volume for the buck? and, pachinkos are small compared to getting into pinballs...

Do they still make rolls of "Certs" mints? I bet Certs would fit in that machine just fine.

life savers probably aren't too far off, but I have seen candy stores locally with those imported british things... polos and such, so if I get lucky, I will have a source.

otherwise, I personally like rolos better
