I'm WEAK too....which is why I'm trying to avoid Ebay for awhile. I have to TRY to be strong...but looking at that row of slot machines across the livingroom...*happy sigh* They look so...so....so.....MAJESTIC :smt029 and SHINY 8-) ! They're just waiting to give up their token-y goodness to all who dare to wander up and try their 'luck'. Kiwame took me thru one bonus round, and then a second, within about 2 minutes of the end of the first. Gotta love when they give it up so readily!

I won a Pachislo from Stealth on Ebay 2/15/05 . What is the average time from the end of the auction (payed thru PayPal the same day) will I be notified for shipping?

once paypal went thru on mine (I pay thru checking acct, so it's about 4 days..) I got paypal notification, and I believe I got notified the same afternoon or early next morning that it was shipping out. So, within 3-4 days of paypal verification I had my machine home (I live in WI, Stealth is in NY). Works for me!

I got PayPal verification at 1030pm on the 15th. At 730am on the 16th I had emailed Stealth that I did not give a phone number for shipping. A positive feedback on 16th at 130pm. Today the 17th I had a verification in my checking account that the debit cleared. I wonder if it is better to use PayPal with a credit card instead of a debit from checking account. I will wait until late afternoon tomorrow to contact Stealth.

Okay.....I'm turning semi-pro about this debit thing with PayPal.....Your checking account might've been raided for the amount of the pachislo, but it DOES take approx 4 business days before it clears all the way around (your bank, the seller, paypal). Soon as it clears on the OTHER end, you can expect it to be on its way.
Example of the one I'm expecting now is: auction won Feb 8th (last week Wednesday). Payment was taken out of my checking account by Feb 9th, but it took until Feb 14th to clear on the other end. It shipped out the evening of Feb 14th, and should be here as of tomorrow (Feb 18th).
So, using debit from checking account, it's taking about 10 days to clear on all sides and let me receive product in Wisconsin.

DON'T PANIC!! they are busy people it may take a few days to get everything into the system. if you look at their feedback you will see: 1: you have nothing to worry about 2: they sell a lot of these so things can get backed up. also ebay is not the only outlet for these folks so sometimes they can't get your box out within 4 mins. of someone paying , no one even me who sits at this machine 7-10 hours a day cannot monitor their email constantly otherwise you'd never get your package. so find your hitchhikers guide get your towel and head to the beach for a couple of days! when you get back: things will be right mate!
my two cents on account of being harrassed by buyers constantly about items not showing up within 24 hours of them paying.

Tank you make a very good point. I looked on Stealth feedback and it looks like he does feedback about 2 times a week, and maybe he ships 2 times a week. But I think that I will use my credit card in the future.

Thanks for the info. I don't think that I can go to the beach now it is a little cold in Lake Michigan. I was hoping to get down to FL for a month this winter. Like I do every Feb. Too much going on with my 95 year old mother.

Does anyone know if there a way to set Paypal to default to you credit card once you've been verified? Mine always defaults to electronic funds transfer :-(

Most (if not all) of the Pachislo sellers on ebay accept credit cards. Just pay using your credit card and it's instantaneous, no need to wait for it to clear and your machine will ship out faster...Just my 2 cents! :-)

I think there's a way to change it in your preferences.

I've been with PayPal since they were a pup. Before eBay even had them. (And I started eBaying 6 years ago Valentines day!)
Never had a problem with darn near instantaneous payments in either direction for quite a while now. For those that have to wait, are you using checking? Have you been verified (both account and address?)? And you might also want to check your bank's EFT policy. I can log into my checking online within an hour and see the PayPal withdrawal right there! That wasn't the case with another checking account I had it tied to.
