A Little Help?

I bought an early modern I liked from jwegger when he was looking to downsize.

It arrived on Friday and I unpacked it today. Jwegger did a superb job of packing and shipping. The machine arrived in pristine condition.

I got it onto my play table and cleaned it up a little. After plugging it in it worked fine, but I wanted to adjust it a bit.The mechanical shooter either shot at its hardest or not at all. so I played around a bit with the mechanism.

Sooooo ... (not really knowing what I was doing) I adjusted a dial and then the shooting dial went loose. I looked at the back and I saw a loose cable.

I think this is a simple fix, but, since I do not have experience with this era of machines, I want to make sure before I proceed.

How do I fix?

Here's the update:

I finally got it fixed and it was pretty simple in terms of what needed to be done to fix it. The catch (there's always a catch) was getting access to the pulley and the slot the shooting wire fits into. After a few busted knuckles and a little creative moving of components, it's done.

I don't think I ever want to mess with that again.

there is a knack to it as when we refurb the new electronic machines to sell the shooter as to come apart to take the scratches out from where coins are jammed in to set the shooter knob
