Well, no work on the room this past weekend.

Took the wife to Vegas for our anniversary

Went to the 'Pawnstars' pawnshop, saw a Foghat concert, ate steak and lobster
Didn't get time to go to the pinball museum, the Primm MX collection, or the Gun store

Maybe next time

Next weekend there will be lots of progress on the room (I hope )

Got alot done this weekend

Did my stenciling on the floor, stained the door frame for the lower cabinet, built the lower cabinet, built and stained the valance over the curtain rod

The BigBear prints look great!

Those bear prints remind me of something I did one Easter. I was friends with the couple that managed the apt. building I lived at. They had a little girl so I cut out a LOT of bunny prints. I placed them up and down the halls. At the end was her Easter basket.

We dripped ketchup on the floor, Told the kids Santa had shot himself.
Saved a fortune on toys that year

we used 3 cotton balls for bunny tracks. and made a trail to the first basket. we also had a trail to my oldest sons bed . for years afterwards he told his friends that the easter bunny slept in his bed.

Good news, I ordered the formica counter top last thursday..

Bad news, they don't make the color I wanted.

Good news, they do make my second choice color.

Bad news, delivery date is 3 weeks out.

So, I guess I'll have to work on some other part of the room this weekend
