Smile Look what Santa left under my tree! 1932 Mills Pinball

While Pachinko's are near and dear to my heart, I have been trying to branch out and expand my horizons with vintage games that involve metal balls. As most of you know, I bought an Allwin earlier this year, love the game and now want to collect one or two more.

While I was searching ebay for mis-labled Allwin machines, I came across this 1932 Mills pinball game and it kind of spoke to me. I did some research on Google and learned a bit more about this era and style of pinball, and now I think I'm hooked! So I put in the minimum bid, but then completely forgot all about it. This morning I got an email from ebay stating I won the item with the minimum bid!!

This link is not a link to the auction I won, but to a previous auction of the machine. It has more photos and a better description of the item. The guy I bought it from won this auction then, I'm guessing, relisted hoping to make more $$$. I paid MUCH less than he did!!

Anyway, a new toy just in time for Christmas! I thought I would share to see if any PT members can provide more history and details about this machine and/or this era of pinball. I am very interested!!!

    Thanks!

    Jeff

Thanks Hanabi! It's interesting that many of the photos in the link you provided also match the photos in that ebay listing. Now I'm wondering if I will be receiving the machine in the photos, or one like it.

I'm not too worried. The seller offers a refund within 7 days of receipt, and PayPal allows disputes within 45 days of purchase.

    Congratulations Jeff!!!

Isnt it nice that you can win an auction item every once and while without the rampant bidding. Thats also a great addition to your collection!

    Happy Holidays!
