Default Newbie looking for backglass art

I am a newbie to the pinball world (Pinbot is my first and only game) but have a handful of other games in the basement arcade.

I was looking for a repository of backglass/translight art (preferably hi-res/vector) so that I might decorate the arcade with backglass art from games that I admire the artwork from...If I could find decent artwork, I could get the materials printed and framed myself

examples would be Captain Fantastic, Haunted House, Gorgar, Spiderman, Cyclone, Flash...

I know there are copyright issues possible with some of this stuff, but if anyone can provide any direction, I'd be very appreciative.

Quite a few of our Members own pinballs as well as pachis and other arcade machines

Hopefully they will be able to assist you

    Hi Zorak,

    Welcome to PachiTalk!!!

I'm a great fan of Christian Marche's work on pinball back glass myself. It's extremely hard to find the artwork alone. Its probably near impossible in fact. I dont even think there are books published about pinball artists out there but I might be wrong.

Although I'm not sure who the artist is, Captain Fantastic is definitely one of my favorites as well.

Here's a couple links to get you started on different artists. That might help.

I dont even own a Pinball Machine yet but admire the artwork. Some day!

microbus, dave christensen did the artwork on capt. fantastic.that would be a great glass to have in a collection ,especially if you were lucky enough to find a so called x-rated glass without the stars.

zorak, did you check ebay?people sometimes part out machines and sell the backglasses ,sometimes for reasonable prices.if you find something you like, maybe frame that and put it on the wall.nothing is better than the real thing.the only drawback is that shipping could be expensive.get a quote from the seller before bidding.

Last night I was poking around on Ebay and I found this seller. The price seems reasonable.
