POLL - Do you buy more, or less, on eBay over Xmas?

For me, I definitely have more time to browse the auctions (all of them), and probably buy and bid on more because time allows.

But as a Seller, I have found that I definitely get much lower prices on my items and less overall traffic to my auctions during the Xmas period (actually, right thru to middle/late January of the next year).

What's your experience? Are there more bargain hunters and less serious bidders perhaps during Xmas?

and don't list a lot because of the lines at the post offce

i shop online this time of year as cant be dealing with the crowds of people who push and shove and all want the same things, so i decide to do my shopping onluine where it is warm and dry and you get everything delivered to your door

Internet shopping for xmas stuffs can be really convenient and fun...So when I have money I like to try to do that for some stuff...but I don't think I've ever bought anything online that I could get locally at a store...If I can get somthing at a store it just seems 1000 times easier..its just you are never going to find some stuff locally like bacon flavored zombie shoes or something, thats where the internet really shines!!

As for ebay..I don't think I ever buy much stuff on ebay around xmas either for me or for presents...I guess Its because If I'm buying something for xmas I want to make sure I can get it (not wait and see if I won etc) and I want to know exactly when I will get it..

I don't buy anymore or less, i buy as my needs dictate.
some months its a lot others are less
the only issue with holiday shopping is the delays due to the Christmas rush.

I won't be doing any buying or selling on e-bay until after the holidays.

I don't get mail delivery where I live, so It's a major ordeal to drive to town and wait in the lines to mail or pick-up packages.

As a buyer on Ebay during Christmas I look for new video games or new electronic accessories that family has asked for as a gift and buy it only if it's cheaper than elsewhere and will arrive in time (which would mean no buying after the 1st week of December). I don't buy for myself as most of my time is spent shopping for others.

As a seller on Ebay December seems slow probably because people are buying elsewhere for others and not for themselves.
