My second vanguard

This is now NO.5 (with other models) and I'm buying another soon.Anyone else fond of these VANGUARDS? What are some of the other THEMES for the middle area/wheel? My first one has blue plastic trays...looks like later(or earlier?) players have metal trays?

I have two daiichi's, too.
my very first machine, that I added tulips to, and this other one that I have not restored yet. I think my aluminum tray one is the newer one, mid 70's
the daiichi that I have cleaned up is very smooth playing. it doesn't have the tinny, plasticky feel that the sanyo's do, and doesn't ever jam.
