No idea how to operate... tech issues???

New owner of a Super Sea Story machine.

I understand how to play but am having trouble with the payouts...

First I would add balls in the top winnings hopper in the back and they would fall through, found the close toggle and they stayed.

Then when I filled the hopper it would hold for a minute then dump the balls into the front winnings tray.

Found a little button underneath a digital readout in the back and pushed it. All balls were dumped into the front winnings tray.

I then had a flashing 1 and 3 on the digital readout.

I filled the top back winnings hopper again and all the balls are being held as well as now only having a flashing 3 on the digital readout on the lower back but I dont seem to be getting any winnings when I believe I should...

As you can see I have absolutely no idea how this machine is to be set up...

Any and all help is very much appreciated...
even with the other stuff this machine is supposed to do, i just havent gotten passed the winnings hopper...

if it keeps stopping for a second a lot while dumping balls to the front tray it is catching up on payouts.

is the small fork shaped piece on the upper ball track in back lifted out of the way like it should be??

Yes, that was the first thing i found to open.
then the balls were falling through, then the toggle was found, then button and digi display etc...

It wont pay out anything right now and a flashing 3 on the back... or im doing something wrong...

If anyone knows what the codes are for the digi display it would be helpful...

This is not a machine that i own, so best leave this one to the experts

I reset the machine as many suggest on other machines and it seems to have worked
no more flashing errors.
Perhaps the 3 means to reset?

sounds like a ball jam after it started dumping if i recall super sea story is a sanyo machine 3 on there readout is payout motor meaning prolly ball jam

perhaps a thread where we compile what all the error numbers mean on each manufacturer would be helpful?
