    Default Identification help

I found this machine on the sid eof the road on garbage day. I left 40' of skid marks from slamming on the brakes when I saw it. Right into my van it went and I was surprised to find it worked almost perfectly when I got it home. It even had balls in it (about 50) so I could give it a play.

It doesn't pay off although all the video works, as well as the lights and music,. I think that I have a bad solenoid in the pay out mechanism, but I thought perhaps the members here could give me some information.

I'm including some photos, if you need to see larger pics, I'll put them on my site with a link. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

So far I have found the ball release for the balls from the hopper on the top and the mechanism to release the balls from the area that they wind up in when you hit the center pocket (this is the par that won't release when you get a bonus)

More than likely because 50 balls isn't enough to trip the 'out of balls' sensor. A couple hundred would.

    Welcome to PachiTalk!!

What an amazing thing to find at the roadside

It looks like a Nishijin, but i do not know the exact model, I'm pretty sure one of our knowledgeable members will be able to give you details on Model name and year of manufacture
, as well as advice on your payout problem

    nice trash day find

my best was 2 boxes filled with C-E-D disc movies sitting by someones trash.

i made a quick turnaround, pulled up and loaded them in my car.

splitting them into lots, I got around a hundred total bucks for them on Ebay

Wow! What fast replies! Yes, it is a Nishinjin and I see that it also says 15 & 5 which I assume is the number of balls you can expect on a payout. The errorcode window shows H when the balls on the right side chute are full E when they are empty (emptied from the solenoid switch). I also get an "A" when you disconnect the Video cable, but there are other codes which are listed in Japanese on the label. I'm waiting on 1000 balls from Ebay so that might be the solution. In the meantime, we are enjoying it as is. Just would like to be able to troubleshoot it a little more extensively, as well as getting any additional info.

Thanks. I am having a great time with it as is my family. My wife is totally addicted to it so I know that buying another one or any 'accessories' for it will be a smooth transaction LOL!

I'm looking for the connector for the dongle but so far haven't had any luck. I may take some photos of the back of the machine and perhaps you folks can point me in the right direction. I think it would be great to be able to have the card reader installed.

I am so glad that I found this forum. Very well run. Kudo's to all of you who made me feel like "one of the gang".

I see you are Moparperformances. My son owns a Stage 3 SRT4 so he's right there with you! It looks like you have a 1966 there in your photo. Hemi?

Connector should be down on the lower right of the back, it's a 25-pin DB connector (looks like the printer port on a computer, if your computer has one )

Fantastic! Thank you so much for the photo. I looked all over the back of that machine for the port, never thinking it would be in that position!

Are the dongles still available? Also, you need the card reader and card as well right?

    This is one great resource!
    Thanks again

I just signed up for the auction so I'll put in my bid as soon as I am approved. I noticed that a lot of people say that there is a "dummy dongle" installed but my machine is just the open port. I don't imagine that makes a lot of difference or does it?
