Default Is there a way to get rid of the Reel Stop buttons?

    Hi!
I bought an autostop and I would like to take out the reel stop buttons and maybe replace them with just some sort of lighted panel or something. any ideas? Anyone do this before?
I have been looking at different plastic parts in stores, wondering if I could fabricate something nice, maybe with backlighting.
Any ideas or input would be appreciated
    Thanks

You can save yourself the trouble and just find an American slot.

There have been a few people that have taken the buttons off and covered the front with metal I think..sorry I cant remember the threads, maybe someone will be able to remember them and post them..

    Hi!
I bought an autostop for 25+5 shipping on ebay and its fine! No problems at all. snaps right in and works. Has a lot of extra tweaks if you want to use them but its great just as it is without tweaking!

I sell the ones on EBay. They work on any machine with the 30 pin connector to the interface board. They won't fit some of the newest machines though.

You can remove the buttons on the front, but you have to leave them connected inside the machine, or it won't function properly.

Here's a pic of what I did with my custom, It's a piece of plexiglass covered with diamond plate vinyl.

I have purchased several autostops over the years from Autoslot here in the forum and they are great mods. You can get just the autostop or the add credit model. Vince is the owner of autoslot and is a great business man and a generous friend to PachiTalk. I think he may still sell the parts to make your own too.

Leave the buttons as lights but disconnect the operating wire(s) that make the reels stop.

I have bought 20 Autoslots from Vince over the years, since I have 20 machines, and they are a great product. He is helpful and generous to a fault in attending to his customers. We have even worked together on several models for machines that I have for which no autostop had yet been designed. Too bad that apparently he is going out of business due to a decline in business with this economy.

Vince...Say it isn't so ! Maybe you can create the Autostop on an order basis for people who need them. You have always been the best.
