Default My First Pachinko Cabinet Progress...

    Hey all,

As promised, here's the update for my Cabinet progress.

The cabinet itself (less painting) is pretty much done. Now we just have to mount the TAKO machine inside, and throw it up on the wall!

I was originally going to build a shelf underneath for a container to catch the balls, but the cabinet is about 9 inches deep, so there is PLENTY of room inside for a LARGE ball catch container - so that keeps it cleaner looking.

    This beast is SOLID!!

I also decided to keep the top of the cabinet flush with the top of the machine, since I don't have a lot of room above the cabinet when it's mounted (low ceiling soffit) so we are trying to devise a 'low profile' method of loading balls into the hopper without having to open the machine everytime. Perhaps something from a side, or a tube that can be inserted, etc...

    Later,

    Matt!

Nice solid cabinent. With the low ceiling and all I would have to say that a ball lifter would be the best way to go. If I were you I would try and use a little of that space above the back tray to add more space for balls. Their are alot of ways to extend the sides.

Nice, job. It will look great when you get some paint on it. It looks good without the bottom tray.
