I wish fewer pachinko auctions were $189 Buy-Now

That's the problem with not enough vendors selling pachinko's. Slotusa is the only one who actually imports them and runs true auctions. TexasAuction always puts up a high initial bid, they are getting theirs from Republic Warehouse. Milt started to put a few up and copied TA's style but I believe they are drop shipping theirs from gameroom warehouse.

Slotusa is the only one that is bringing them in direct and selling them like they do their slots. Problem with this is, you never know what you're going to get from them.

    Do you mean
Slotsusa doesn't inspect their pachinkos before selling them ?

No, they inspect them as far as putting in the transformer to make them work. They don't appear to pay much attention to them after that. I think a quick rag to remove the dust is their idea of cleaning them.

Pachinkos are in the same price range as skill-slots,
yet Pachislos get all the vender's TLC.

They don't pay any better attention to their slots either. Maybe they do on the expensive models? I've received two machines from them. Both were in crappy condition when I got them. If you complain to them you will get your 1000 tokens/balls for your trouble though.

Quality control has always been an issue with them. Unlike other vendors (ValleyGaming) with quality control problems, Slots at least tries to make you happy.

I received great tech support from TA.
The guy even tore a game out from it's shipping box
so we could both see the part in question while we talked about it.

I double click my computer clock,so I'm right on the second the auction ends.On Windows XP,click on the "Internet time" tab and make sure you have the "automatically synchronize" box checked.

Win XP are you kidding? I'm running Win 98SE.
I was about to buy a new loaded Shuttle compact format computer,
but there's this new hobby involving lights, music, & shiny balls that distracted me.

i've done the personal 7 to 10 second snipe myself.

but, missed a few because i was a little off on bidding time.

it's more fun sniping, when you can see the results right away.

it gets the blood flowing a little faster

i got my 2nd pachinko from slotusa, it didn't work right after trying a few things with tech support,

they didn't have the same model so they replaced it with a much better model and paid call tag pickup and shipping on it.

Yeah Slot USA sux, I initially bought a machine off of them back in Aug. It arrived here and the insides needed all put back together and a small corner molding on the outside snapped off. After I put it all back together, I mailed them and told them what happened and I was pissed He sent me 500 tokens and discounted my shipping and promised to send out the molding. Emailed him a couple weeks ago and asked where my molding was. He said that he thought that it was taken care of already, and would check their spare parts and send it right out. He mailed me back and said he had the left one but not the right one I needed, offered to pick up the machine and send a replacement. I really didn't feel like going through the hassle so I told him to send out the equivalent amount in tokens instead. SO yesterday there is a little box on my porch when I get home and inside is 500 more tokens.
Moral of the story is you can still get tokens 6 months later.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

For what it would have cost him to swap it out, you'd think he'd have at the very least sent you 1000..

SlotsUSA was a bit slow shipping compared to the other vendors, but my Giga Fever still arrived within 2 weeks of the auction close so really no complaint there.

I have to say that the machine came in just perfect. Nicely packaged with lots of padding. Spotlessly clean inside and out. It is the best condition machine I've purchased so far from any vendor.

I'd buy from them again without hesitation.

Another thought... really Lddrizzt's comments about the guy still offering to take it back 6 months later is a compliment for SlotsUsA. Even though they goofed up and didn't send out the part, it seems they were trying every which way to please him.

Any vendor can occasionaly send out a bad machine or something can happen during shipping and it gets damaged. If that happens, then how they treat you when you call sure becomes important.

Hope nobody minds... but this thread sort of split topic, so I moved it after the split to here. Started in eBay forum as how to snipe, and went to "Need more pachinko dealers".

Since I'm a STRONG believer in the fact that we need more pachinko dealers... (and volunteer eBay moderator)... I wanted to give it it's own thread.... heck, if I could, I've give it it's own DOMAIN!!!

There's a few posts still in here that reference sniping... but thats OK, I suppose. Still learning how to keep shop clean.

If I'm not mistaken, TA's "tech support" line is direct to Republic.
THEY are the lifeline... TA (Curtis) is merely a dropshipper / sales frenzy creator... and price driver-upper.
Someone correct me here if I'm wrong.

Bottom line, though... we NEED more PACHINKO dealers!!!
