Looking for my first Pachislo machine. Advice appreciated...

Hello,

I'm on the hunt for my first Pachislo machine and I was hoping for some advice before making this purchase.

I have found 4 machines locally and they are all priced about the same ($125 - $225 range CDN).
I'm located in Canada so unfortunately I don't have that many machines to choose from locally and I don't want to ship unless I have to ($$$).
I'm new to Pachislo so I don't know very much about these machines and I'm hoping that someone can chime in with some input or recommendations.

Aladdin Evolution Seller states that this is a brand new machine!?


Unknown ??? Anyone know the name of this one?


I have read some comments from members on how some of the Pachislo machines are great for a short time but then they can become boring.
I'm hoping to get one that will be fun for a long time.

The last machine looks like a Rodeo - Whirlwind R.

I prefer machines with video, and would definitely stick with one of those (non-video machines just don't hold my attention). I've seen lots of videos for Aladdin Evolution on youtube, so that would be my choice.

I would suggest you select the theme of machine that grabs you most

Aladdin Evolution is a fun game. I had one for a while and liked it very much. Camel races and flying saucers. I think thats your best choice, IMHO

Never played any of those particular pachislos, but I too would opt for the Aladdin Evolution, purely because of the video screen as i think they add an extra element to home play

However, ideally you should pick the one that appeals to you most, theme wise, as we all have different opinions on what is fun

As a proud owner of an Aladdin II Evo I would definitely recommend it to others.
but, yeah... I agree with the whole "stick to a theme that interest you"
Even if that means you hold out for something you'd; without a doubt, enjoy.

Funny, about a month ago I almost bought a Seven Bar posted on Craigslist for $100.
but I just don't have the time for a 4hr round trip to Pittsburgh

The machine without a name is George K . Milt sold them a few years ago.

I had Aladdin , got bored with it.

I would keep looking for a better choice.

See if you can find Super Black Jack!

Keep checking Craigslist and ebay. Frankly, nobody is going to be able to tell you what you will like. While others here enjoy the ones with video or LED screens, you may not. I happen to like the older ones that do not have all the bells and whistles. You'll need to play with them individually before making a decision.

There are several that seem to be universally enjoyed by our members, Slot Player mentioned Black Jack. Most of them are premium games that will come with a price. But there are thousands to choose from, so be picky. Or, if you're like me, if it's cheap enough, buy it! You can always unload it later.
