I won a Metal Slug last week. Buyer's remorse immediately set in. At $178 (plus exorbitant shipping of $89), I paid a little more than I usually pay for a machine and I was asking myself, "Did I really need yet another pachislo?" "And, if so, was this really the one I wanted to add to the collection?"

Well, it arrived today. I've only given it a couple of spins. It's an absolutely amazing machine - even just sitting there. One of the best looking machines I've ever seen. Massive color video screen. Great light show in attract mode. So far I love this machine. Can't wait for the weekend when I'll have time to give it some serious play.

All right Gwarzin, share your thoughts on it. Now that you've had it awhile. With shipping I'd paid $5 more than you did for it so I want to hear all about it before it gets here.

Really haven't had much of a chance to play with with the Metal Slug. Just got back in town today. The little I have played REALLY impressed me. Sound, video, lighting, attract mode, and game play all seem really great. Has to be one of my favorite machines. With a little luck I'll find some time to play this weekend.

Also had a Destroyer waiting for me today. It came in on Monday. Only got as far as plugging it in and tossing in a couple dozen tokens to make sure it worked. So far, pretty happy with it. I had saved a spot right next to the Metal Slug and Super Blackjack. Luckily it fit right in. The attract mode is very similar, so the 3 machines just look like they belong together. All three flash the reel lights in different patterns. And, while the Destroyer doesn't have a video like the other two, it does have that led display across all 3 reels. Those 3 machines really look good together.
