    Default Best Attract Mode?

Which of your pachislos have the best "attract mode".

In my collection some of the best are:

Neo Planet - lots of activity on the LCDs that cover the reels.

Beast Sapp - full 15" video with a lot of variety - much more interesting than Hanabi Hyakkei

Super Blackjack - constantly changing video on the small LCD. Symbols on reels light in different sequences - this happens continuously.

Banker 9 - If you just turn it on it doesn't go into attract mode. You have to play it once. Then it goes into a great attract mode. The reels light up in different colors, neon strips between the reels change colors, symbols light up in different patterns, red side lights turn on.

Arra King - Large LED numeric displays show numbers and patters in red and green. A series of five VERY BRIGHT strobes flash across the top.

My Net Debut actually has an irritating attract mode because it talks to you. I usually leave 1 credit on the counter just to keep it from going into attract.

Anyone else have machines with interesting or unique attract modes?

I have to agree that both the El-Vision machines from Yamasa have great attract modes as well as the SBJ. What amazes me is the IGT's, the very best play of all the machines but their attract mode sucks. My wife hates it when we're sitting watching a movie and then all of the sudden, "Hey you, Punk", comes flying out! I always just smile and say, "Wanna Play?".

I have 3 IGTs. Spin Luck, Dragon Dice, and Dance Night. The only one that looks good just sitting there is Dance Night. The reels stay brightly lit, the top red light bar flashes in a pattern fairly frequently, and the back lights behind the reels flash in different patterns.

On the other hand, the SL and DD have reels that go dark. The top lights do go into an interesting pattern, and there is a little flashing going on with the reel back lights, but it happens pretty infrequently. Odds are, when you happen to glance at a SL or DD in a dark room, it will look pretty boring. The chances of catching either of them during an attract display are slim.

If you leave a spin stocked in the Spin Luck, the lights over the reels stays lit and it doesn't even go into it's attract mode at all.

I think the Spin Luck is the biggest attract mode machine there is. People say all the time, wow is that a wheel of fortune type machine? Giga Fever has to be up there too.

Interesting thing about a Giga Fever is that when sitting beside a Don Don King, it makes the Don Don King look better. During the attract mode the side lites on the GF keep changing. Those on the DDK stay one color. But, because of the changing GF colors there's always a contrast between the two machines. At a quick glance, the casual observer never notices that it's only the GF that is changing. They just automatically think they are both changing. So, the impression is that the DDK has a more active attract mode than it really does.

Can someone post videos of the best attract modes?

I agree that that is an excellent idea (post videos of the attract modes) !

From this thread so far it sounds like GigaFever will win this hands down.

I would say that the NEW PEGASUS has one of the best attract modes. Yells PLAY ME and the lights go all around the machine flash and twinkle. and this happens frequently.

I gotta say that I don't like attract modes that talk to you. It gets old fast. I have a Net Debut that has a good looking attract mode, problem is it talks to you. So I always leave 1 credit on the meter.

I agree, it's cute the first few times you hear one but after awhile...

I assume you mean 1 credit bet, since on my machines, that's what it takes to stop it from going into attract mode. On several of my machines I don't like it when they are left in this state since the backlighting of the reels is left on from the prior round of play. I worry that the reel light being left on like that will shorten the life of the bulb, overheat the reel in front of the bulb, or both. On my machines, none of them leave the reel light on constant while in attract mode. Some of them flash them around in patterns occasionally, but don't leave them on. If I had the Debut, I'd probably install an L-Pad with the knob on the outside of the machine, so I could just turn the volume off when it was being left for a while.
