Default Montreal Olympics pachinko Upper Jackpots

I just restored a Montreal Olympics machine and was wondering if any other machines have used the same type of upper jackpot. They are basically just simple holes with a nail below to direct the ball through. Very hard to win unless you bend the nail way upward.

Just curious if anyone has seen the same type on other machines.

That is a really nice machine.. I love the cross over between pachinko and the olympics..

nice looking machine... never seen one like that where the cell and the jackpots are all the same theme..

i would have to guess and say that might be one of the first perpous buil machines. insted of a bunch of random parts on a random cell..

    nice verry nice

    wana sell??

I just got it restored yesterday. I had wanted that machine for a while and it came out pretty nice. One of the hurdlers had a broken leg, but I set it with super glue and he should be fine. Sorry, but it's a keeper.

btw, nice Mopar! I am an old car guy from So Cal (now in FL).

I meant that I was old, not my car. I just could not resist the 427 small block in the Z06 vette.

My neighbor has a '70 Super Bee that is immaculate!

those upper pockets are pretty tricky. if you don't hit right in the top of the arc of nails, then you need a really lucky bounce upward...

that machine does have 4 lower pockets, so that should pay out pretty well. I have a sankyo with holes with nails, too. maybe these were just to give it a different look?

    nice machine. it's a nishijin B?

Yes, Nishijin B. It has the standard back so I did not take any pictures.

Really fun center jackpot with a spring board that launches the balls into the 1/2/3 pedestal. The #1 opens all 4 tulips. Pretty good jackpots on this one!
