no video help! help!

i bought this from gaku, i put about 30hrs. on machine, not played much, i turn machine on screen lights then goes black, you can very very faintly see some details at the bottom of the screen, but everything else is fine, is this a video board problem? if so can a new one be found ...thanks all rick

If you can still read the screen dimly, it is probably the LCD backlight that went out... as for getting one, i dunno
