Check your 20p coins if you live in the UK

Apparently a batch of them were released without dates and could be worth £50 each

Well I just checked mine, I had 6, but all had dates

Perfect timing, as I had two bags of £10 worth of 20p coins ready to take to the bank. Alas after careful checking none of them were missing the date.

Now if I cut the front half off an old 20p and the back off one of the new design ones and glue them together, do you think anyone will notice.
