HC Error - What does this mean? Pictures.

Just got this machine. After getting the hopper unjammed it payed out and now it still displays this error.

Anyone know what this means?


Also, does anyone know what this says?

Usually a hopper Check error. See if the Door key will turn to the left to clear the error.

Umm, funny story about that...

The lock is no more... One of the previous owners took a blow torch to the lock, so now its just a hole in the machine.









I also need a coin mech for the machine. If anyone has a spare, please let me know how much.

well you might want to remove the lock. Normally one way opens the door, the other does a soft reset. there should be a switch or sensor by the lock try to do a reset with it.

To the left of where the coin mech goes...there is a wire connection on the end of a lack plastic "L shaped" switch. The metal bar that is toward the back would go down as the key is turned to the left. The bar fits into a slot in the Plastic switch. This will do a soft reset to the machine.

Just wanting to know what that specific code stands means (HC) and also what the error messages reads.

A hopper check can happen if you ran out of coins during a payoff, or you used the switch on the power supply (if you have a switch) to empty the hopper. Usually a HC error is also accompanied by an alarm sound.
