    Default No payout

I finally solved the problem where the machine would not accept tokens. I pumped in 3 and started the reels. Well the first problem is that the stop buttons do not all work, but eventually they do stop. I had three be bells show up but no coins came out. Instead I get the annoying tone , and an HE in Win Window. What do I do now?

you need to clean the buttons, hopper and tokens.

check and reseat all your wite connections,

some contact cleaner sprayed around the outside of the buttons while pressing them might free them up

take tokens out of hopper, spin the wheel at the bottom by hand to clear tokens out, tehm wipe down real good.

clean the tokens in very hot water with dawn or clr, rinse well and dry with towel, then let them air dry for awhile

I have removed the tokens, they are clean. The hopper never seems to power up. I noticed that there is a switch on the side of the hopper with an LED below it. The LED does not light up whether I have the switch in the on or off position. What does the switch control anyway?

With the door open, press the stop buttons and look for LED's lighting up with each button (every button should have a corresponding LED), which is how you check to see the buttons themselves are working. If not, check the connections, check for broken wires, what LD & FTK said...

half way up the wall of the machine you should find a 3x5 pc card it has a fuse on it check that fuse and see if its blown ,that card controls your reel stop buttons .also check all the fuses in your power supply one may be blown.

    Question Re: No payout

All of the fuses test good on a meter. The hopper (is that the correct term) never seems to rotate, so no coins are dispensed for a win. At this point, I am less concerned with the stop buttons, though I did spray contact cleaner on them. I can't clear the HE error (hopper empty) so I am unable to run a new game to test the buttons. Do we have access to manuals for operation/troubleshooting?

I have removed and cleaned the hopper. I cleaned the exit sensor, checked out the circuit board, and tried applying 100 VAC to the motor with no reaction. I am assuming that the motor is shot, but would appreciate any input before I spend the money to replace it.
