Chance button busted

I took delivery of an Ultraman machine. Unfortunately the chance button lights up but doesn't work. Anyone had this trouble before? Anyone has any idea? Many Thanks!

its a teaser button

the button is there to get customers in palours to think they have a better chance to win, so they will spend more money.

its lighting up so theres is a good chance that it is working. if you can get to the internals you may want to check the contacts on the button itself to make sure its getting contact. but that could be a lot of work to get to.

I am sure your chance button is working if it lights up. Just play, play and play some more and the video eventually will ask you to press the chance button really fast! Then you will see if it's working ok.

The chance button may light up but still not be working...I know, my Bee hive does that. Also, there are no contacts in the button, it is an optical switch. There may be some lint blocking the sensor but they are sealed up pretty good so I doubt that is the problem. On my bee hive the problem is a bad logic chip which I have not been able to replace. Hopefully you will have better luck.
