    Default homeless in florida

our local government got a half million dollar grant from the federal government to help get the homeless people off the street.

our local government said for that amount they could get 15 mentally challenged homeless people off the street and into places and get them counseling.

    thats almost 34,000.00 each!!!!!!

you would think they could come up with a better plan to help more people.

i think i will start wearing old clothes and walk around looking stupid

I think you'd look cool with your pachislo in a shopping cart and a battery system in the bottom tray! 8-)

good idea, i could use two old car batteries.

my dog would be good for getting hand outs from people

publix was losing so many carts that they put wheel locks on them you can only go about 200 feet from the store and the front wheel locks up.

Idiot politicians here in Iowa at the statehouse had some guy that was unemployed who picks up pop cans for a living advising them what to do as far as the bottle/can deposit law.    Yep, these people are real geniuses. Very frustrating.

Then, to top it off the Des Moines Register said "Can-do man advises politicians" in their headline about this travesty.

"Can-do man". A guy who lives off of picking up cans on the roadside???? :-? :-?
