Default Nishijin Y&O CR Sellout Crowd

Started a new thread so it will be easier to find pictures/info in the future.

Nishijin Y&O model CR満員御礼EX (Sellout Crowd)

It's a pretty cool Sumo Wrestling theme. Wasn't too sure about it, at first, but I really liked the cell.

Most of you know this is the machine with the broken shooter knob. After pulling the knob, I realized there was a lot more of the base plastic to work with then originally thought, so I'm confident that fixing it is the way to go. (Least amount of hassle!)

By far the dirtiest pachinko I've ever received. Tar, dirt, dried clay, bugs, leaves, cobwebs, you name it.

All the wiring for the lighting, and sensors had been switched around. I don't see how, though, as they're all color coded...

The ball pickup for the center tulip is missing. If someone has one from a parts machine, or knows where to get one, please let me know. I'm currently touching the wires together to simulate a ball in the tulip.

One day, I promise I'll get some videos up on youtube.

Looks pretty neat. Shame about the missing sensor.

It appears to me that buying a Pachinko off ebay is always a bit of a gamble when being sold by someone who doesn't know what there selling.

Hope you eventually get it running as it should.

would a small micro switch work? or maybe the shiny object sensor on the pachicounters?

nice machine. what's the music like?

Good ideas! I think I've got some long arm micros laying around. Hopefully the weight of one ball will be enough to trip it. A leaf switch would work ... don't think I have any though... unless I raid the vintage...mwaaahaaahaaa...

Music... hmmm... good question. I'll have to get back to you on that one. It was making some, but I didn't pay attention.

Varying with how long the wires are, you should be able to take the sensor from the 4 pockets at the bottom (usually pretty hard to hit anyway, probably just one for all) and use it in the center pocket. If you can come up with a pic of it/one, I might be able to help out.

I still have a couple small switches, too, if you need one.

post a picture of what you need, and i'm sure one of us has something that will work

    nice video. thanks for posting.

good idea on using the one from a lower pocket, compirate!

Here's the sensor. I pulled this off Obake Land, which is also a y&o, and it's perfect. I'm looking online by the part #, but so far nothing domestically.

Was able to get a fever earlier, and half way through, the machine lost power. I turned it off for a few minutes, then back on and all was well (except for not being in fever mode ). Does that sound like a transformer issue?

It didn't feel real hot, but I work on hot machinery, so I'm used to hot surfaces... I'll see if I can get it to duplicate the problem, and get back to you...

Just played through a huge fever, and it didn't skip a beat. Transformer never got hot either, so it must have been a fluke.

Get the Trusty meter out and check the voltage just as you power it up then again if the machine fails before you turn it off and see if there is a voltage drop. If you had a clamp on amp meter you could check the amps too.

The "Kill a Watt" I have here would be able to check both of those. If you want to borrow it let me know.
