Is it stuck Stuck?

I just received a Super Sea story the other day & its my first modern machine.
I am a newb when it comes to modern pachinko machines & was wondering if my machine is stuck in slot mode. My son first played it & went thru several video sequences which was way cool. Then, is went into slot mode (matching fish) It seems stuck in that mode, its been like that for 3 days & I tried unplugging overnight to no avail. I ran approximately 5000+ balls thru it & no match or payouts. The light on top (Sanyo logo) is red for some reason. If I leave the machine alone it displays the screen saver after a while but when I land a ball in the start pocket it resumes the slot mode. Is this what its supposed to do & eventually I will get back to the video sequences? Also the LED segment in the back flashes 1 & 3. The jackpot hopper is full & has been since I turned it on.

it's in a dry spell. when it pays out it will astound you! could you post a pic of the light? it sounds like you are out of balls in the upper hopper.

give it some time. many of my machine i can play for a week and not hit a fever. then all of a sudden it will hit 3 or 4 times in a matter of minutes. as for the hopper check the payout mech. it may be jammed. there is a little button right next to the display where you see the 1&3 push that for a few seconds to see it if clears the code out. just a thought.

I looked carefully at the ball path & noticed it was obstructed. i pushed the button next to the number LED & it payed out everything it saved. now its paying out as I play as I figured it should (no jackpot though, darn dry spell).
