Default New Cragslist posting: Mid-90's Pachi

Here is a new Craigslist posting as of this morning. I'm not sure if the price is good or bad for the age of the machine, but it sounds like the machine is in great overall working condition, so I thought I would post.

    Pachinko Gambling Machine from Japan

I live within 20 minutes of this seller, so if any of you have an iinterest in adding this machine to your collection, just send me a private message and we can make arrangements to get it to you.

I really love the funky bright colours of those 90's Pachinkos

250.00 bucks I don't think so try 50.00 maybe with some balls. I like vintage machines but lets get real here...

I agree with Alston. The only way the can get that price is to go on eBay and have videos and give away $50 to the highest bidder!

But, it does have some "I Did Acid" colors!

This machine is an electronic version with ball shooter, LED lights and music. It is one of the early models that provided a "fever" when a ball lands in a victory pocket. I have one in my collection that is very similar to it and I would rate it as a "classic", not a "vintage"

I believe it is worth a bit more than $50.

    My take:

Vintage - anything with a flipper lever
Modern - anything with a shooter knob

Sub-categories (at least for oldies) -

    Pre-Masamura
    Single Shot
    Automatic

Modern really only has styles -
    Hanemono/wing
    Deji/digital - Mechanical/LED/LCD

Arrapachi is a class all by itself!

Rusty put together a great thread that provides some definition about the classification categories:

    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/vint...fications.html

Based on that thread, the pachi in the above Craigslist ad would fit in the "Classic Modern" category. I don't see machines from this era for sale very often - that is why I posted it.

As for price, it is worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay for it.

I put the divider at the visual revolution .a new style shooter didn't change the game the reels plus sounds and then the video display completely changed the game as we know it . All the evolutions have been in that area for the last 20 years .and i still put the level at around $50.00 give or take a few certainly not $250.00.

I think $100-$150 is a fair price for any nice pachinko, especially a fun wing type machine like this!! Of course if you can get them for less, thats always good!!

Just because I've gotten some pachinkos for free doesn't mean I think all pachinkos are worth nothin!!
